26th Kohuen Moon Viewing Gathering

At Kohuen, a stroll garden with a central pond located in Sakaide City, Kagawa Prefecture, a magical illumination and music event will be held over 4 days (September 24 to September 27) covering the Harvest Moon. You can admire the moon shining in the autumn night sky while listening to live performances by musicians associated with the local area, including Nagauta by master Choyuri Imafuji, the Sakaide High School Brass Band, and gospel by Sparkle Jive Choir. Enveloped in the expressive and fantastical glow of bamboo lanterns (Takeakari), this is a unique opportunity to relax and enjoy music and long autumn evenings. Inside the garden, sweets, beer, and various beverages will be sold, including the annually popular "Shinsuien Green Soft" ice cream, and the lawn area will be open as a space where you can enjoy food and drinks while viewing the full moon. Food and beverage booths by local shops will also appear, allowing you to savor delicious moments unique to autumn nights.
