Connect with the Sea Yacht Experience 2026

About this event

Held in Tonosho Town, Kagawa Prefecture, "Connect with the Sea Yacht Experience 2026" is a sailing experience event where participants ride sailboats propelled solely by wind power in the nature-rich sea of Shodoshima Island. Designed for beginners to experienced sailors alike, two types of experience menus are offered: small sailboats (hansa) and cruising yachts. In particular, the hansa is a universally designed small sailboat structured to be safe and enjoyable for anyone regardless of age or experience; its highly stable structure makes it difficult to capsize, allowing even small children to experience it safely. Wooden sailboats (capacity 4 to 6 people) are also available; with a highly stable structure featuring a heavy keel on the bottom of the boat that resists capsizing, beginners, children, and persons with disabilities can enjoy sailing with peace of mind. During the event, participants will also receive an original novelty gift from HELLY HANSEN. The eligible age is 5 years and older, and elementary school students and younger must be accompanied by a guardian. Participation is free.
