About this event

Held in Konan City, Kochi Prefecture, "The 4th KONAN TRAIL: Salt, Hano, and Serenity Trail" is a trail running event where participants can experience the Tosa Salt Road "Tokuzen Okan" passing through Hano in Yasu-cho, Konan City, the beautiful nature surrounding Ogamaso and Hase-dera Temple, revived pilgrimage paths, and scenic vistas transitioning from sea to mountain. The 33.7 km course has a cumulative elevation gain of 1,320 m and qualifies for 2 ITRA points and the UTMB Index 20K. Through this event promoting local specialties and key regional sites of Konan City, participants contribute to regional revitalization while deepening bonds with fellow runners and local residents. Participation is open to those aged 18 or older on race day who can remain on the trail even in bad weather and are confident in finishing at their own responsibility. The entry limit is 300 participants, and the entry fee is 10,000 yen. Aid stations will provide drinks, bananas, Teyama mochi, Tosa specialty confection Umefushi, Osan somen noodles, mikan mandarins, Ikka Soden muskmelon, and more, with bento boxed meals prepared after crossing the finish line. Although rescue and medical support systems are in place, participants are required to enter at their own responsibility with full awareness of the inherent risks of trail running.
