Disaster Prevention Festa 2026 ~Circle of Safety Connecting the Community~ will be held on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Giken's "RED HILL 1967" in Daito, Akaoka-cho, Konan City, Kochi Prefecture. At this event, you can try various disaster prevention experiences such as earthquake simulation vehicles, water discharge, drones, and lifesaving. In addition, special vehicles from the Self-Defense Forces and the police will be on display, and cardboard playground equipment will be available for children to enjoy. The mochi (rice cake) and candy toss for elementary school students and younger will take place from 11:30 on both days, and the stamp rally for up to high school students is limited to the first 500 participants on both days. Around the venue, you can also enjoy food from about 20 stalls offering yakisoba, hamburgers, ice cream, and more. The event runs from 10:00 to 16:00, with final admission at 15:30. Admission and experiences are free with no reservation required; it will proceed in light rain and be canceled in severe weather. There is no parking at the venue, but temporary parking lots are prepared, and a free shuttle bus runs from there to the venue.
