The 119th Special Exhibition: 'Prayers and Wishes'

Held at Kami City Museum of Art, the 119th Special Exhibition 'Prayers and Wishes' introduces two-dimensional artworks that give shape to flame-like feelings held deep within the human heart. In modern times, where people seek spiritual fulfillment alongside material wealth, this exhibition focuses on universal themes such as prayers to deities and Buddhas and secret wishes. Approximately 40 works selected from the museum's collection will be on display. During the exhibition period, gallery talks by the director or curators will be held every Sunday, offering opportunities to deepen understanding of the exhibits. In addition, the 'FY2026 Kami Museum Stamp Rally' will be held concurrently, making it a project you can enjoy even more by visiting alongside the Kami City Takashi Yanase Memorial Hall.
