About this event
The Tsukushi Jinmai dedicated at the Relocation Commemoration Festival held at Miyajidake Shrine is a traditional dance handed down through 1,200 years. Said to be the prototype of Noh and Bugaku, this sacred dance is precious, performed only on the day of the Relocation Commemoration Festival. As the solemn autumn breeze blows, an elegant dance is offered on a stage set up in front of the main worship hall by Shinto priests and members of the Keishin Women's Association. This legendary court dance has been performed continuously since ancient times as the "Azumi Dance", allowing visitors to experience a solemn atmosphere steeped in history and tradition.
