Mizumaki Cosmos Festival

The Mizumaki Cosmos Festival is an autumn event held at the cosmos garden spread across the Onga River bed in Mizumaki Town, Onga District, Fukuoka Prefecture. Approximately 5 million cosmos flowers bloom in full glory, and the Cosmos Road spanning about 6 km creates a breathtaking landscape. At the venue, Midorin Park, children's events and food stalls will be set up, allowing visitors to enjoy the festive fair atmosphere in addition to the flowers. Admission and parking are free, making it easy for families to visit. The expansive river bed is well-suited for strolls with strollers and ideal for taking family photos against the backdrop of beautiful flowers. The cosmos typically reach their peak blooming period from mid-October to early November, and the festival is held around October. Access by car is recommended, with multiple free parking areas available.
