Agano Ware Autumn Kiln Opening

Held in Fukuchi Town, Fukuoka Prefecture, the "Agano Ware Autumn Kiln Opening" is a precious opportunity to see newly fired and creative pieces of Agano ware, a pottery style with roughly 400 years of history. It is a popular event visited by many ceramic fans from within and outside the prefecture, allowing visitors to experience the autumn charm of this ceramic village with all five senses. Participating kilns will offer a 20% discount on all Agano ware products. Additionally, there will be a stamp rally with chances to win JAL airline tickets, as well as limited sales of tableware created through a collaboration between JAL Hometown Ambassadors and three local kilns. Hands-on experience events using Agano tableware will also be held, including a Taiwanese tea collaboration (reservation required), tea ceremonies, and coffee time. Many food stalls and kitchen cars will also be present, creating a lively atmosphere. The venues are the Agano no Sato Fureai Exchange Center and participating kilns.
