The "Song and Dance Celebration: Hiji Town Fujiwara Summer Festival 2026," which enlivens Hiji Town with song and dance, will be held again this year. At this festival held over two days, the "Summer Fest Marche" will appear, lined with delicious gourmet food and cute miscellaneous goods. On the first day, Saturday, August 29, a kids' corner and a health consultation corner will be set up at the Health and Welfare Center, allowing you to spend a pleasant time while listening to music. After welcoming guests with instrumental songs, all participants will perform a ZUMBA exercise. On the second day, August 30, a performance and mini-lesson by professional samba dancers at the Ninomaru-kan and a cosplay parade along the Castle Town Promenade will be held. After that, the festival will conclude with a brass band performance, Ueken Samba, live acoustic band performances, and a karaoke contest. It is a fun two days packed with music, dance, and delicious gourmet food, where you can also enjoy a food court, miscellaneous goods shops, and workshops.
