Held at Otori Hall in the Yomitan Village Cultural Center in Okinawa Prefecture, 'Yomitan Rakugo 2026' is an autumn event filled with laughter and fun, featuring rakugo storyteller Sanyutei Wanjo and Hayashiya Hachiraku, who is well known for paper cutting (kamikiri). It will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, with doors opening at 14:00 and the performance starting at 15:00. Admission is by voluntary donation (nagegane system), and admission is free for high school students and younger. No advance application is required, making it easy to experience the world of rakugo. It will be a valuable opportunity to fully enjoy autumn in Yomitan Village along with the charm of rakugo.
