Apple Village Itayanagi Whole Bite Walk 2026

Held in Itayanagi Town, Aomori Prefecture, the "Apple Village Itayanagi Whole Bite Walk 2026" is a walking event where you can fully enjoy the charms unique to apple country. In 2026, it will be held on Sunday, September 20, which is three weeks earlier than usual. Because it takes place during late-summer heat, heatstroke prevention measures are necessary. While apple picking is not available on this event's courses due to the absence of pickable orchards along the routes, three varieties (three pieces) of apples are prepared as completion prizes. Three courses of 23 km, 13 km, and 7 km are set up, each with different reception opening times, departure ceremony times, and start times. The 23 km course has reception from 7:00, departure ceremony at 7:45, and start at 8:00. The 13 km course has reception from 7:30, departure ceremony at 8:45, and start at 9:00. The 7 km course has reception from 8:30, departure ceremony at 9:45, and start at 10:00. Participation fees are 2,000 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for high school students and younger from outside the town, and 1,500 yen for adults and 500 yen for high school students and younger residing in Itayanagi Town. The registration deadline is Wednesday, September 2, 2026; same-day registration at the venue is possible even after the deadline, but prior registration is recommended as crowding is expected. Name inclusion in the program is limited to registrations received by Thursday, August 20.
