📅 Thu, Aug 20, 2026
About this event
Held on the banks of the Hira River flowing through Fujisaki Town, Minamitsugaru District, Aomori Prefecture, the '57th Tsugaru Fireworks Display' is a beloved summer tradition in Fujisaki Town. Approximately 3,000 fireworks vividly color the night sky, creating an enchanting scene. In particular, the reflection of the floating lanterns and fireworks on the water's surface is beautiful, and spectators can enjoy spectacular fireworks such as 1-shakudama (approx. 30 cm shells) and super ultra starmine displays. Paid reserved seating is also available, allowing guests to relax and savor the dynamic fireworks. Additionally, a floating lantern ceremony is held prior to the fireworks display, adding an even richer emotional atmosphere to the summer night.
