Hirosaki Castle West Moat Boat Tour (Exclusive Operation for House-Moving Event)

This is a special boat tour to leisurely cruise the West Moat of Hirosaki Castle on a traditional Japanese boat. Limited to the building-moving (hikiyama) event on August 22 and 23, 2026, you can enjoy boat operation on the West Moat. Please enjoy the special scenery available only on this occasion and the charm of Hirosaki Castle viewed from aboard the boat. Operating hours are 10:00 to 17:00 (reception ends at 16:30), with advance reservations available only for 10:00, 11:00, and 12:00. Boats run on demand during operating hours, and operations may change depending on weather and passenger conditions. Boarding fees are 1,000 yen (tax included) for junior high school students and older, 500 yen (tax included) for elementary school students, and free for preschool children (up to 1 child per adult). Held as part of the Hirosaki Castle Keep Relocation event, it is a valuable opportunity to discover the charm of Hirosaki Castle from a different perspective than usual.
