About this event

"Fashion Koshien 2026" is a design contest for high school students aimed at discovering and nurturing next-generation young fashion talent. Students enrolled in high schools nationwide form teams and submit designs created with free thinking. Works that pass the primary screening are actually produced into garments and showcased in a fashion show format at the final judging held in the main hall of Hirosaki Civic Hall in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture. In this competition, themed around "Fresh Sensibility", high school students' innovative ideas and creativity are contested. The winning team will be awarded a study trip to Paris, France, scholarships, supplementary prizes from sponsor companies, and more. The final judging is a glamorous event gathering young talent where the quality of crafted outfits, design originality, and presentation performance are comprehensively evaluated. Rehearsals are also held on the day before the competition to ensure full preparation for the actual day.
