[Enjoy Autumn to the Fullest in Minamisanriku!] Satoyama Sweet Potato Harvest Festival & Group Share Experience

This is an event where you can experience harvesting Beniharuka sweet potatoes, a blessing of autumn, in fields set against the satoyama landscape of the Iriya district in Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture. In the field managed by the representative of YES Kobo, participants can enjoy all-you-can-dig and all-you-can-pack sweet potatoes within the allotted time (3 kg bag). The dug-up sweet potatoes will be gathered in one place, and the experience includes packing them into bags together at the end. Bags for taking them home will be provided by the organizers. It is held as an autumn harvest festival aimed at fostering interaction among fans of Minamisanriku Town and YES Kobo. Participants need to prepare clothes that can get dirty, boots, gloves, etc. Depending on field conditions, notification regarding whether the event will be held on the day may be sent on the previous day.
