Aizu SAMURAI WEEK 2026 returns this year. Tied to 'Samurai Day' on November 11, special programming will run for 9 days from Saturday, November 7 to Sunday, November 15, hosted across 9 partner facilities in the city, centered on Tsuruga Castle Park. Building upon the 'Fukushima DC Special Edition' held in June, this year's event has been further upgraded, highlighted on Sunday, November 15 by the Samurai Fes and Nino Marche expanding to approximately 65 stalls. Packed with experiences of samurai culture, special programs in historical venues, and a bustling market celebrating local charms, there are plenty of attractions for adults and children alike to rediscover the deep history and cultural allure of Aizu.
