
About this event
The "25th Yoshima Wasshoi" will be held in Yoshima Town, Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture. As the largest annual event in the region, various programs are scheduled from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with the gymnasium and schoolyard of Yoshima Daiichi Elementary School serving as the main venues. In the gymnasium, stage performances will be presented, including Japanese drum performances by nursery school children, presentations by local entertainment circles in the Yoshima area, kids' aerobics, hula dancing, and cheerleading. In the schoolyard, stalls and bazaars by various groups, exhibitions and ride experiences of police motorcycles and patrol cars, exhibitions and ride experiences of fire engines, exhibitions of expressway service vehicles and gas emergency utility vehicles, paper craft workshops, health consultations, and a disaster volunteer experience booth will be provided. Furthermore, the "Yoshima Jumbo Menu Big Eating Contest" from 11:30 AM and a grand lottery with luxurious prizes from 1:30 PM will be held, offering entertainment for the whole family throughout the day. Parking is available at the open space on the south side of the Hokan Municipal Housing.
