Held as a commemorative project for the 60th anniversary of the municipal organization, the "Medical Festival 2026" marks its 3rd edition this year. Continuing from last year, it is a valuable opportunity to experience medical frontline work up close that is normally inaccessible, such as operating the surgical assistance robot "da Vinci Xi" and taking a tour of the rooftop helipad where the Doctor-Heli takes off and lands. A special lecture titled "Laugh and Live: Overcoming Oropharyngeal Cancer" by comedian Wacky is also scheduled, giving courage and hope to visitors. In the Rakugo performance, Yagisuke Busotei and Konatsu Shisotei are invited to provide an enjoyable time. In addition, a wide variety of programs are prepared, including hand care massage by palliative care nurses, exercise and nutritional guidance using InBody, dispensing pharmacy experience, bronchoscopy experience, wheelchair/self-help device/thickened food experience, secret of life birth experience, sign language experience, lung model crafting, "Reassuring Consultation Center Connected by Smartphone" experience, pulmonary function test, dental health consultation, pink ribbon crafting experience, and natural water nail experience. With corners such as "Gather! Future Nurses" introducing nursing work, exhibitions and ride experiences in doctor cars, fire engines, in-hospital ambulances, and police vehicles, as well as drinking water tastings from water tank trucks, it is an event that can be enjoyed all day by both children and adults. Food trucks, food and beverage booths, and sales stalls are also plentiful, allowing visitors to fully enjoy gourmet food.
