Autumn Festival

About this event

Held every year in the Hongo area of Aizumisato Town, the Autumn Festival is a traditional festival that enlivens the community. Eight districts of the Hongo area create original floats themed after popular anime characters and trends of that year, parading through the town. From children to the elderly, everyone in town joins forces to pull the floats, coming together as an entire community to make the festival exciting. The elaborate floats captivate onlookers and further heighten the lively festival atmosphere. This festival is an event full of highlights where local tradition and creativity merge.
