Held in Tsuchiura City, Ibaraki Prefecture, "TSUCHIURA Cheers Festival 2026" is a festival celebrating its 5th anniversary, bringing together Ibaraki craft beer and local gourmet food. It will be held over 2 days on Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, 2026, at "Urara Large Roof Plaza," about a 2-minute walk from the West Exit of JR Tsuchiura Station. Six representative breweries from Ibaraki Prefecture—including Kiuchi Brewery, Tsukuba Brewery, and Mito Brewing Daikucho Brewery—will gather under one roof, allowing visitors to compare uniquely distinct craft beers. Pairings with local gourmet foods can also be enjoyed, and perks such as lotteries and coupon distribution for Play Atre Tsuchiura are prepared at the venue. Commemorating the 5th anniversary, a limited collaboration drink, "Tsuchiura Brewing Collaboration Drink," made with watermelons grown in Atre's garden, will be sold exclusively on the days of the event. Furthermore, emceed by a local MC, stage performances by local artists and schools, including cheer dance, brass band music, and singing, will take place over the 2 days to energize the venue. Admission is free, with food and drink paid for at each individual booth. Soft drinks are also available so families can enjoy the event as well.
