32nd Hitachinaka Festival

The 32nd Hitachinaka Festival held in Hitachinaka City is one of the region's largest events, held over two days. On the first day, the Hitachinaka Festival Fireworks Display featuring Japan's top fireworks by Nomura Hanabi Kougyou will be held at the JGSDF Camp Katsuta, and the dynamic fireworks unfolding right before the spectators' eyes, especially the melody-accompanied wide starmine in the finale, are a must-see. On the second day's main festival, big events, dance projects, a dance parade, and a float and mikoshi parade will be held, and visitors can also enjoy events planned by students. The excitement spreads across the entire community at venues including Omotemachi Shopping Street and Showa-dori.
