About this event
BREWERS' GATE HITACHINAKA 2026 will be held for two days on Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the Katsuta Station East Exit Stationfront Square in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Under the theme "A new wave of craft beer from a town by the sea," 10 breweries from four prefectures—Ibaraki, Fukushima, Chiba, and Tochigi—will gather for this beer festival where you can taste distinctive craft beers. You can compare and drink different craft beers from each region while directly interacting with the brewers. In addition, there will be 12 food stalls at the venue where you can enjoy pairings with craft beer, offering meat dishes, Korean cuisine, tacos, skewers, crepes, sweets, and more. The Ajigaura Brewery Project, aiming to launch the first craft beer brand in Hitachinaka City, will also participate, providing an opportunity to hear directly from the makers about community-rooted brewing and brand building. Staged in front of Katsuta Station, it will be a two-day toasting venue where local residents, visitors, and producers interact.
