The Exchange Soccer Festival with the Japan National Football Team for Players with Intellectual Disabilities will be co-hosted by Tochigi SC, the Japan Football Federation for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (JFFID), and Sakura City. In this event, Tochigi SC school coaches collaborate with Japan's national football team for players with intellectual disabilities—who have continued holding training camps in Sakura City for over 12 years—to deliver the joy of soccer to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. People with various participation goals, such as 'I want to play soccer with the national team' or 'I want to enjoy the same space with everyone,' can easily join together with their families, even if they are first-timers or feel anxious. It is a valuable opportunity to interact while enjoying soccer alongside JFFID players, staff, and Tochigi SC coaches.
