About this event

Roadside Station Mashiko will celebrate its 10th anniversary on October 15, 2026. To commemorate this milestone, the "Roadside Station Mashiko 10th Anniversary Festival" will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2026. On that day, the highly popular "Torotama Pudding" will be sold for 100 yen each, limited to 3,000 pieces. In addition, exclusive gourmet items such as "Torotama Cream Pudding" (300 yen), "Meaty Roast Pork Bowl" (1,000 yen), and a big-sized "Whole Fried Carrot" will make an appearance. Mashiko's nostalgic school lunch bread "Soboro Pan" will also be sold, alongside food trucks and food tents. The event is packed with activities: a 10th-anniversary ceremony will take place from 10:00, followed by a freshly harvested rice grabbing challenge, the "2nd Rubber Boots Throwing Contest", and a "Kamado Cooked Fresh Rice Hospitality" where rice is cooked and served from traditional hearth stoves. In the afternoon, visitors can enjoy traditional ohayashi festival music passed down in Mashiko Town and creative Japanese taiko drum performances by Mashiko Tenjin Shippu no Kai. As a grand finale, commemorative fireworks will be launched around 17:45, concluding this special 10th-anniversary day. Furthermore, a limited-time cosmos field will appear on the site adjacent to the 2nd parking lot from Saturday, October 10 to Thursday, October 15, and a 10x Mashicoin points campaign will also be held during the 10th Anniversary Fair.
