30th Moka City Music Festival

About this event

The Moka City Music Festival has become well established as a community-crafted concert, marking its commemorative 30th edition this year. It began with the aim of developing local musical culture, triggered by the "Wind Orchestra Festival" of the National Cultural Festival held in Moka City in 1995 (Heisei 7). At this music festival, kindergartens, elementary, junior high, and high school students, as well as civic groups from Moka City, present the results of their daily practice. Visitors can enjoy performances across a wide variety of genres, including wind orchestra, symphonic music, choir, koto music, Japanese drums (wadaiko), ocarina, and flute. In celebration of the 30th edition, special performances featuring two guest groups are planned, offering a wonderful musical experience.
