MAEBASHI BAR STREET 2026

About this event

Set along Keyaki Street in front of Maebashi Station in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, 'MAEBASHI BAR STREET 2026,' one of the largest outdoor food festivals in Northern Kanto, will be held. Over the two days of Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, 2026, the station front street will be completely taken over and transformed into a stylish space. Over 100 popular shops and food trucks from within and outside the prefecture will gather, offering a wide variety of food and drinks such as meat dishes, pizza, pasta, and sweets. This year, famous restaurants will be making their first appearance one after another, promising an even richer food lineup. First-time stalls include Takasaki City's popular udon shop 'Masaka,' the Tabelog Award-winning tempura establishment 'Tempura Mokkosu,' Tabelog Top 100 selected yakiniku restaurant 'Beef Laboratory,' and Top 100 burger shop 'HITCH HIKERS BURGER STAND.' Additionally, fresh fish specialist 'Kakujo Gyorui' will make its debut, selling prepared side dishes, sushi, grilled fish, and more. In addition to food and drink sales, the venue will host a goods market, workshops, stage performances, and a car show. It is an event that families can enjoy all day long. Starting with just 8 shops, BAR STREET has expanded year by year, growing into a large-scale food event that closes all 6 lanes of the station front street starting in 2023.
