Make and Play Finger Puppets

About this event

The "Make and Play Finger Puppets" workshop held at Gunma Museum of Art, Tatebayashi is organized in conjunction with the summer special exhibition "Czech Toys and Design: From Niklova's Plastic Toys to Contemporary Artists' Art." Participants will create original finger puppets using materials such as wooden beads and fabric scraps. Completed works can be taken home. Open to participants from preschoolers to adults; children in 3rd grade of elementary school and below must be accompanied by a guardian. Students from Gunma Prefectural Women's University will cooperate to support the workshop. Conducted in the Annex Workshop Room of the museum with a capacity of 100 participants (on a first-come, first-served basis). Participation is free, but advance registration is required. The application period begins at 11:00 AM on July 29, 2026.
