KAWAGOE REMIX 2026

About this event

"KAWAGOE REMIX 2026," a festival of light, music, and food venturing into the "night" of Little Edo Kawagoe, will be held for two days on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2026, on the grounds of Renkeiji Temple. Under the title "KAWAGOE LIVE (Jazz at the Temple)," live performances by 8 groups of artists associated with Kawagoe will take place. The soul-stirring tones of jazz will color the night of Little Edo. In addition, as part of the "Little Edo Kawagoe Light-up," the grounds of Renkeiji Temple will be magically illuminated with Japanese umbrella and bamboo light installations inspired by traditional Japanese aesthetics, allowing visitors to enjoy a beautiful space woven from tradition and light. Furthermore, at the "Food Event," food trucks, local shopping street vendors, and stalls by Tourism Association members will gather to present a diverse array of gourmet dishes themed around "Meat and Vegetables." Please enjoy a special time in the pleasant autumn weather. Admission is free. The event will proceed in light rain and be cancelled in stormy weather.
