About this event

"Awa-awa x Bon BON", a summer event where Misato Chuo Niodori Park gets covered in foam, will be held on Saturday, August 22, and Sunday, August 23, 2026. The appeal of the event is the ability to enjoy both the fun of a traditional summer festival and the excitement of a music festival at the same time, combining Bon Odori dancing, DJ music, and giant bubbles surrounding the area. In the Bubble Area, the centerpiece of the event, a giant bubble machine will appear, creating a magical space enveloped in fluffy foam. On both days, Bon Odori is scheduled from 17:00 to 18:00, followed by DJ & Bubble Time from 18:00 to 20:00. In particular, on Sunday the 23rd, Sydney-based DJ Pretty Dragon will appear as a special guest, further enlivening the night where music and bubbles unite. The venue will also feature a gourmet area with food trucks and stalls offering menus perfect for a summer evening. Because the participating vendors change between the 22nd and 23rd, you can enjoy both days. In addition, there will be an ennichi fair area that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike, as well as a beer garden area where you can enjoy beer in an open space. It is an event where you can enjoy a summer evening in your own style with family and friends.
