Kunikami Gion, held in Minano Town, Saitama Prefecture, is a traditional festival held every year around July 20. It is held at a location about a 5-minute walk from the Kunikamikyoku-mae bus stop, accessible by town-operated bus from Minano Station on the Chichibu Railway. The festival ceremony starts around 2:00 PM, followed by the appearance of portable shrines (mikoshi). This festival is one of the Gion festivals passed down in Minano Town and is cherished as a community-rooted Shinto ritual.
