Niseko Hirafu Festival 2026

The annual summer festival 'Hirafu Festival 2026' held in Kutchan Town, Niseko, Hokkaido, is packed with diverse attractions for both adults and children, including a mochimaki (rice cake toss) with luxurious prizes, authentic target shooting (shateki), chambara sword-fighting battles, and music and live performance stages by local artists. With inflatable bounce houses and trampolines, children are sure to be thrilled. In addition, the 'Niseko Gourmet Carnival' gathers about 40 popular eateries from the Niseko area, where visitors can enjoy a wide variety of gourmet food. The grand finale of the festival enlivens the venue with a collaboration of Yotei Taiko drumming and fireworks. Sponsors are also being sought.
