Held to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the introduction of peanuts to Chiba Prefecture, 'Peanut Festival in Yachimata' is an event taking place on the grounds of Yachimata Junior High School where visitors can fully savor the charms of peanuts. Tastings of seasonal boiled 'Oomasari' peanuts and tastings and sales of aromatic roasted 'Chiba Handachi' peanuts will be offered.
