2026 Tomisato Sports and Health Festa

Held mainly at the Tomisato Social Gymnasium (Tomirina) on Sports Day, Monday (national holiday), October 12, 2026, the '2026 Tomisato Sports and Health Festa' is a day themed around sports and health. Participation is completely free. The event will feature Sports Onigokko (tag experience and elementary school student tournament), running classes, kids' dance performances, a soft volleyball tournament, a health walk, and new sports experiences (Ladder Getter, flying disc golf). The Sports Onigokko experience has no age limit, while the elementary school tournament is a competition where teams compete to capture treasure. The running class aims to improve running ability for 1st-grade elementary school students to 3rd-grade junior high school students. In the kids' dance performance, PASSION and HappyStars will showcase their dance. The soft volleyball tournament is for junior high school students and older, competing in team rallies. The health walk features a historical walking course of about 6 km from Tomirina toward the Nanae area, and will be cancelled in case of rain. In the new sports experience, you can casually enjoy Ladder Getter and flying disc golf. Detailed times, eligible participants, and application methods are specified for each activity, with some requiring advance registration and others accepting same-day walk-ins. Please bring comfortable clothes and shoes, a towel, and a water bottle.
