Museum Lecture: People Surrounding Shosuke Yoshiue

This is a lecture about tanka poets who interacted with Shosuke Yoshiue, a tanka poet and politician from the Motono area: Kun'en Kaneko, Nobutsuna Sasaki, Hakushu Kitahara, and Ichiro Tsubaki. Shosuke Yoshiue contributed to the local community through his diverse activities and left a lasting mark on Japanese tanka history through his relationships with many renowned poets. This lecture sheds light on Shosuke Yoshiue's life and the literary achievements of the poets surrounding him. Learning about their works and historical interactions provides a deeper understanding of the culture and social background of the era. Mr. Hiroshi Iida, a member of the Japan Poets Club, will serve as the lecturer, offering clear explanations from a professional perspective.
