About this event

Tokyo Sky Corridor (KK Line) 'Roof Park Art Fes 2026' transforms the KK Line (former Tokyo Expressway) in Chuo Ward, Tokyo, into a nighttime art stage. This event is the first art festival held as part of the 'Roof Park Project,' an initiative revitalizing space once dedicated to automobiles into a pedestrian-centered, lush green public area. Graphic artist YOSHIROTTEN presents the main installation centered on the concept 'INVISIBLE - A signal of River -' with the theme of visualizing the unseen. Blending Tokyo's nighttime cityscape lights with infrastructural remnants from its expressway era, a unique art space is brought to life. The venue features an installation projecting historical photographs of the area and a large-scale artwork spanning approximately 40 meters. In addition, during the final days of the event on Saturday, November 28, and Sunday, November 29, the contemporary circus piece 'SHIODOME SPACE-KK-RAFT' will be performed, coloring the night with acrobatic physical expressions reflecting the former Shiodome River and the lives of people who gathered along it. This event serves as a highlight program of 'ARTE TOKYO,' a new urban culture and arts festival.
