Shibaura Canal Festival 2026

Held from Sunday, September 27, to Monday, September 28, 2026, Shibaura Canal Festival 2026 is an event where visitors can fully experience the charm along the canal, with main venues at Shinshiba Bridge and Canal Promenade at the East Exit of JR Tamachi Station, as well as the sidewalk in front of the Tokyo Institute of Technology Innovation Center (NEC Networks & System Integration venue: former Shibaura Institute of Technology venue). On the first day, Sunday, September 27, from 10:00 to 17:00, the festival will be lively with song and dance performances on a special stage, canal cruises, administrative exhibits by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Minato Ward, and food/game stalls run by local merchant associations. In addition, game corners hosted by the PTAs of Shibaura Elementary School and Shibahama Elementary School will provide plenty of activities for children and adults alike. On the second day, Monday, September 28, from 17:00 to 21:00, only the canal cruises and canal cafe will be held, allowing visitors to enjoy the romantic evening atmosphere of the canal.
