2026 Summer Session Stage Awa Odori & Cool Summer Marche

About this event

An event where you can enjoy an exciting summer while beating the heat will be held at Session Suginami. In the courtyard, mist showers will be installed, and a rich lineup of gourmet treats will be available, including natural shaved ice, sweet corn from Nayoro City in Hokkaido, and peach amazake sold by Tokyo Rissho Junior & Senior High School students. There will also be food trucks, cookies, and fresh vegetable stalls. Children can enjoy activities such as mini-bowling, a handmade water gun play corner, and bouncy ball scooping. The mascot Namisuke will make an appearance, and baby castella cakes will be available for the first time. On the same day, the stage performance "2026 Summer Session Stage Awa Odori" will be held in the main hall, with dance performances also presented in the courtyard. The ticketed stage performances are scheduled in two sessions, while the free courtyard performances will take place twice daily. It is a delightful summer event where both children and adults can spend delicious, fun, and cool moments.
