About this event

"Jazz in Hokutopia Vol.4," organized by the Kita City Cultural Promotion Foundation, is a jazz event held over two days. On the first day, Friday, September 25, talented musicians will gather centered around Shun Ishiwaka, who leads the current jazz scene, including the Yuya Wakai Trio, Marty Holoubek Trio II, Answer to Remember (Miles Davis & John Coltrane Centenary Tribute), and MELRAW. Especially in Answer to Remember, the soul of Miles and Coltrane will be expressed through Answer to Remember's unique individuality. On the second day, Saturday, September 26, the legendary Brazilian-born guitarist Toninho Horta will appear, presenting a solo performance as well as collaborations with the Japan Jazz Collective and the Japan Brazil Collective. Please enjoy a genre-transcending musical experience at Hokutopia Sakura Hall.
