The '35th Mitaka International Exchange Festival' is an event aimed at promoting international exchange between foreign Mitaka residents and Japanese citizens. Held every autumn in the West Park of Inokashira Onshi Park under the theme 'Let's Hold Hands, the World is One', it features diverse programs including world music and dance stages, a World Bazaar bringing together global cuisine and folk crafts, and hands-on attractions for kids. The venue spans around the athletic field, cultural exchange square, and baseball field of Inokashira Onshi Park West Park. On the world dance and music stages, visitors can enjoy international performances such as samba, African music, and mariachi. The World Bazaar sells food, drinks, folk crafts, and general goods from around the world, making it a day where anyone can easily experience the world. In addition, there are multicultural introduction attractions where embassies, NPOs, and NGOs enjoyably introduce each country's culture, as well as a kids' zone with a quiz rally. It is organized by the Mitaka International Society for HOsPitality (MISHOP).
