'Musashino Art Brut 2026: What It Means for Humans to Express III in Metaverse' is an art exhibition held in a metaverse space. Everyone is an 'artist' who expresses thoughts and feelings in their own unique way, and this exhibition provides a place where such rich expressions gather, differences encounter one another, and new discoveries and connections are born. Through encounters with works, you can feel the fun and enjoyment of 'expressing' as well as the joy of people resonating with each other. Because it is a metaverse space, a key feature is that you can appreciate the art at a leisurely pace without worrying about your surroundings. Musashino Art Brut started in 2017 (Heisei 29) as a commemorative project for the 70th anniversary of the municipal organization, expressing 'raw art'. This refers to everything created with original ideas and methods by people without formal art education, without being conscious of anyone else, and aims to connect not only people with disabilities but diverse people through art.
