About this event
Atsugi City will hold the "FY2026 Atsugi City Archaeological Sites Lecture" on Saturday, September 5, to report on the latest excavation results within the city. In this lecture, experts will provide easy-to-understand explanations of the valuable findings obtained from excavations conducted throughout the city in the previous fiscal year. Based on materials such as stone-built features and pottery that emerged from the ground, attendees can unravel the local history, the lives of people at that time, and the lesser-known memories of the region. Admission is free, and no advance registration is required. Capacity is limited to the first 200 participants. The venue is Science Hall 250 on the 6th floor of Atsugi City Plaza, a 5-minute walk from the East Exit of Hon-Atsugi Station on the Odakyu Line, or immediately after getting off at Atsugi Bus Center. The event runs from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM (doors open at 1:00 PM).
