"Sukiyaki Meets The World 2026" is a 3-day festival held in Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture, where music and culture blend together. Celebrating its 35th edition this year, it has evolved even further to provide a precious opportunity to experience world music and culture in the land of Nanto. The venue is around the Nanto City Fukuno Cultural Creation Center (100 Meijima, Nanto City). As performing artists, on Saturday, August 22 at HELIOS STAGE, Sibusile Xaba (South Africa), Sia Tolno with Jaribu Afrobeat Arkestra (Guinea/Japan), SAI (Japan), Sukiyaki Steel Orchestra (Japan/Sukiyaki), and others are scheduled, with additional artists to be announced in the future. On Sunday, August 23 at HELIOS STAGE, Madalitso Band (Malawi), OKI DUB AINU BAND (Japan), CHAPPO (Japan), and others are lined up, with further artist announcements also anticipated. Tickets go on sale from Friday, May 1; a 2-day pass for the Helios Stage is 10,000 yen (tax included), a 1-day advance ticket is 6,000 yen (tax included), and 7,000 yen (tax included) on the day. Admission is free for high school students and younger. Programs other than HELIOS STAGE can be enjoyed free of charge.
