World-touring Japanese Drum Ensemble "Yamato" Japan Tour 2026 in Ishikawa Based in Asuka Village, Nara Prefecture, the world-touring Japanese drum ensemble "Yamato" has given over 4,800 performances in 55 countries worldwide since its formation in 1993, captivating over 10 million people in total. Featuring giant taiko drums over 2 meters in diameter and weighing over 500 kilograms, along with various large and small Japanese drums, they create a powerful stage. The overwhelming rhythm and delicate expression born from rigorously trained physiques are truly "music of the body." Intensity, wistfulness, serenity, and dynamism—the stage of Yamato is not just about "listening" to sound, but an experience to "feel with your whole body."
