The 53rd Sabae Yasshiki Festival is a seasonal tradition in Sabae that nurtures community bonds and vibrancy. This year, the timing of the event has been changed from July to September, taking on the challenge of holding it in a new season to allow more people to participate safely and comfortably. By avoiding the severe heat, the festival aims to provide a safer, more accessible environment for dancers and visitors alike, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the charms of Yasshiki in relaxed surroundings. While cherishing past traditions, this festival held in a new season continues to evolve as a place where even more people gather and smiles spread. The festival will be held along the Furumachi Shopping Street and Honmachi Shopping Street, and traffic will be closed from 13:00 to 22:00. Details will be published at a later date.
