Held in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, "Glasses City Sabae Mirai Fest 2026" is an event that widely showcases Sabae City's proud manufacturing industries—including eyeglasses, textiles, and lacquerware—as well as forward-thinking initiatives such as citizen-led projects, women's empowerment, student collaborations, and SDG promotion to children and young generations who will lead the future. Aiming to connect to the future 50 and 100 years from now, it has evolved from "SDGs Fest" into "Mirai Fest." The venue features a Special Stage Area offering TGC shows and LDH dance collaborations, a Booth Area for learning about manufacturing and SDGs, an Activity Area where children can play and exercise, and a Gourmet Area bringing together Sabae's local specialties. Notably, the event is packed with inspiring content, such as the TGC Show and LDH Dance Workshop Show on Day 1, and the Dance Showcase Contest on Day 2. Additionally, an SDGs Riddle Rally will be held, with prizes awarded for finding clues hidden around the venue and answering quiz questions. Advance registration is required for the Special Stage on Saturday, the 17th.
