Under the slogan "Thank you, Eyeglasses," the eyeglasses appreciation festival "Megane Fes 2026," which brings together eyewear enthusiasts from across the nation, will be held. Centered around a memorial service for eyeglasses (Megane Kuyo), visitors can enjoy 2 days packed with eyeglasses, including booths displaying the latest eyewear from production hubs, an eyewear stage, eyewear gourmet food, and merchandise sales. ARAKAWA LACE LAB. will also have a booth featuring sundries using eyeglass lace and custom cut sales of lace fabrics inspired by Fukui. The venue will offer a variety of fun eyeglasses-related programs, including exhibitions, sales, and workshops. Admission is free.
