About this event

Set in Nishiyama Park, a symbol of Sabae City in Fukui Prefecture and selected as one of 'Japan's Top 100 Historical Parks', the music festival 'Sabae JAM Festival 2026' is planned and operated primarily by local citizens from diverse backgrounds under the concept of 'a Sabae-style music festival dedicated to independent culture'. By intersecting music that resonates across genres with locally rooted culture, the festival aims to be a one-of-a-kind event broadcasting 'Sabae's unique cultural scene'. A diverse lineup of artists including Yu Takahashi, EGO-WRAPPIN', T-Jiros, Yoshiko Hanzaki, MASH String Band, and JABBERLOOP will perform, offering distinct and captivating musical experiences across the two days. In addition to live music, there will be food stalls, a market, and interactive content, along with the concurrent holding of 'Craft Beer Forest in Nishiyama Park', which was well-received last year. Unique craft breweries from across the country will gather, welcoming not only festival-goers but also local residents and tourists to drop by. Furthermore, the adjacent Nishiyama Zoo within the park offers the delightful attraction of meeting adorable red pandas.
