Held along the banks of the Hino River in Echizen City, Fukui Prefecture, "River Paradise 2026" is the ideal event for making summer vacation memories. Under the theme "Life Jacket On! Let's Play in the River!", free life jacket rentals will be provided so that children and adults alike can safely enjoy water activities. Put on a life jacket, jump into the river, create your own ways to play, and make fun, safe summer memories. In addition, the concurrently held "Jojolympics" offers a race-style experience centered on the vital emergency concept of "helping others and being rescued." Through team races such as wading through the river under the scenario of a flooded town, participants can enhance their disaster preparedness awareness while having fun. In the event of stormy weather, the festival may be postponed to the following week.
