Fureai Car Festival 2026 is an experiential event held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Assist Engineering Yocchabare Plaza outside the north exit of Kofu Station, where visitors can learn about automobile structure, maintenance, and traffic safety. The event corners are packed with activities for both children and adults to enjoy, such as learning about car structure using radio-controlled cars, assembly classes for motorized model cars, a kids engineer experience, a seatbelt convincer simulation, mini-bus rides, and automobile consultations. In addition, motorcycle police and patrol car exhibitions will allow visitors to view the vehicles up close. Stage events will feature kindergarten marching bands and cheerleading, character shows, balloon art, traffic safety quizzes for children, dance, and yo-yo performances, promising a lively day. The event runs from 10:00 to 16:00 and is organized by the Yamanashi Automobile Maintenance Association, the Yamanashi Automobile Maintenance Commercial Union, and the Kanto District Transport Bureau Yamanashi Transport Branch Office.
