About this event
The Maruko Central Hospital Fireworks Display 2026 is a summer tradition held in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture. Approximately 3,000 fireworks will be launched in sync with music, creating "A Fantasy World of Sound and Light" that colors the night sky of Maruko. This fireworks display has continued for more than 10 years and is well-loved by local residents. In recent years, holding the event has become difficult due to rising material and safety costs, so crowdfunding is being conducted for the first time to carry the fireworks forward into the future. Many visitors eagerly look forward to this fireworks display created together with the community. The event will proceed in light rain, but may be canceled in case of stormy weather.
